“It will be fine for a couple hours.” she said. “Now, come to bed.”

Willow grinned and slid her shoes off, moving over to the bed.  She climbed in with Tara, wrapping her arms around her tight.

Tara smiled and held Willow close. “I love you so much, baby.”

“I love you too,” she murmured, “more than anything, Tara.”

She smiled and kissed her softly, her eyes drifting shut.

“I can agree to this.” she said, nodding. “It would be nice to just relax, cuddle and sleep.”

“I like the sound of the cuddles,” she said, smiling and letting go of Tara’s hand, wrapping an arm around her waist instead. She rested her head on the other woman’s shoulder.

She smiled and kissed the top of her head as they walked towards their room. “We should get food after we sleep, then take care of the stone.” she said. “We haven’t had a proper meal in a while.”

“Cuddle, sleep, food, Stonestar, baby,”  Willow nodded.  ”Baby’s getting far away,” she pouted.

“We’ll see the baby, don’t you worry.” she said. “And really, cuddling and sleeping will happen at the same time, so that cuts it back by one thing.”

“Yeah!  It’s like multitasking!  But without the effort of having to do stuff!”  She grinned, looking up at Tara.

“exactly!” she said, laughing softly.

She kissed Tara’s cheek, holding her close as they walked back to their room.

“I love you, Willow.” she said, smiling.

“I love you, Tara,” she smiled back, pushing the door open.  She set the bag down and opened it, pulling out the small box that held the Stone.  She put it in the circle they had drawn up for it before they left, a charm to make anyone who looked at that spot want to look away, unless they were the caster.  ”Safe enough for now.

“It will be fine for a couple hours.” she said. “Now, come to bed.”

Willow walked toward the castle, hand in hand with Tara.  Her other hand clutched a bag to her chest, they’d worked so hard to get what was inside, she felt like she had to protect it.  Like a … puppy or something else that needs protecting.  It had taken months to get through all the traps and protective charms around the Stonestar, but they had managed eventually.  A power centre to strengthen the barrier of Rhys, and any other barrier connected with it.  Hopefully with this added, there would be no penetrating it.  She squeezed Tara’s hand as they reached the gate, grinning at her, “Home sweet home, baby.”

Tara smiled lovingly at Willow. “Home sweet home.” she murmured, leaning over to kiss Willows cheek. “I’m glad to be back.”

“Me too,” she said, smiling at the kiss, then turning to catch Tara’s lips with hers. “I mean, not that exhausting and kinda dangerous spell breaking wasn’t fun.” She grinned.

She chuckled softly, “Nope, no fun at all.” she said, smiling. “Still wouldn’t trade this place for anything, even Sunnydale.”

I’d have to say ditto there,” she adjusted their hands, twining their fingers together. “I feel bad though. We’ve been gone so long, Buffy must’ve had her baby ages ago.”

“I’m sure she’ll understand.” she said. “We can get the stone ready and then we can find out.”

She nodded, “Good plan.” She swung their hands happily as they walked through the front door.

She smiled and squeezed Willows hand as they walked inside. She sigh happily, glad to be back.

“Actually, I think the order should go nap, stone, baby. I’m so sleepy,” she pouted. The last few months had been exhausting, the prospect of their own bed was so inviting.

“I can agree to this.” she said, nodding. “It would be nice to just relax, cuddle and sleep.”
